General Description:
Dutch Gaming Network is an active WhatsApp community with over 600 members, consisting of students and professionals from the Dutch games industry. Through this group, I share updates about new and upcoming events, important news, and regular reminders. Everything is easily accessible via WhatsApp, available in English.
Workflow and Method:
To organize and manage all information, I use an interactive database built in Notion. This database allows me to quickly see which events are coming up, when I need to post updates in the group, and what important details need to be shared. This workflow keeps the group up-to-date, structured, and ensures that no important opportunities are missed.
Why I Do This:
Over the past year, I noticed that many young professionals and students are not yet familiar with the various events and networking opportunities within the Dutch games industry. As a result, they often miss out on valuable experiences and connections. With Dutch Gaming Network, I want to support the community by offering an accessible and easy-to-use resource that helps them stay informed and encourages them to start networking early in their careers.
